One of the biggest compliments a woman can ever get is when people say you are “blooming.” It means you exude a certain aura that makes your face radiate. It is beauty that is not cosmetically enhanced but something internal.
From a coach’s perspective, I attribute blooming to something that is alive and doing well. You bloom because you intentionally plan to. You want this positivity in you to be kept alive and you work towards achieving it.
I have coached many individuals from all walks of life. Through these interactions I have heard very many stories of challenges and successes. If there is one thing I constantly share with those I coach is, that — each and every one of us is beautiful. However, others can not see it in us unless we ourselves recognize that beauty. Whether you are at the lowest point in your life, there is still something beautiful that you need to recognize and release. Change your perspective and have a heart full of gratitude.
Your inner beauty also comes out when you help others constantly grow and bloom. I may not be a George Clooney or Denzel Washington look alike but I know I am beautiful, and it is coming from within. In my own way, I was able to make and will continue to make a difference in people’s lives and that makes me radiate under any circumstance.
Flowers bloom, be like one. When it was just a bud, all it’s beauty was contained inside the bud and no one paid much attention to it. But when you nurture it, take care of it, that bud will bloom into one beautiful flower that everyone will admire. Don’t you want to be like that flower?
