In my years as a Leadership coach, I have witnessed numerous transformations in the lives of others. Transformations that have made these people better individuals. Out with the old and in with the new, as they say.
The key to transformation or self-renewal is “commitment.” Anything is possible if you commit yourself to it. You put your heart and soul to make things possible.
Some people are afraid to commit, especially in a relationship. They view commitment as an obligation that tends to restrict their freedom to do whatever they want. It may be true, but they fail to recognize that those restrictions are part of the process to make their relationship grow stronger.
On the level of personal growth, nothing happens unless you and I commit to it. Minus the commitment, the change you have been wanting will simply be a desire. No one has ever gained success by giving something half-hearted or half the effort. When you commit to something, you give it your all, no matter what it takes. It will be your driving force until you get to the top. The best part is when you reap the fruits of all your efforts. Nothing beats the overwhelming feeling of success knowing that you really worked hard for it and gave your all.
I have a commitment. I commit myself to serve in the best way I can and help other people bring out their strengths and best to become better individuals. I commit myself to Camp Ohana Foundation that I will exert all possible efforts and means to be able to improve the lives of the children we serve.
My commitment is my legacy and i intend to live it out and pass it on to the next generation, all for one purpose — to serve mankind.
