Have you asked yourself why you are doing what you are doing now? If you are a priest, why are you a priest, why are you a banker, an artist or in my case why am I a leadership and motivational speaker and coach?
Growing up I dreamt of being a pilot. I never thought that I would be who and what I am today. However, there was something in me that pushed me to do what I am doing now. An innate yearning, a desire to keep on doing it because it gives me fulfillment and happiness. I found my passion.
Why did my passion win over my dream? It is because passion is not a mere conditioning of the mind. It is something that cannot be taught because it comes from your heart. You would feel the desire running all over your body. It cannot be forced because its main characteristic is — it is “genuine.”
You cannot force someone to do something they do not love. This will result in failure or dissatisfaction. For something to yield you the best results, you must love what you are doing. You give your whole self to it for it to work. Do not force anything. If it is meant to be, it will happen.
You owe it to yourself to find your passion. Once you find it, hone in on it and excel in it. When you do something you love most, you are able to make a difference in people’s lives.
I am happy where I am now. It puts a smile on my face that I am able to change people’s lives. This is my gift, my passion and I will do everything to be better in it with the goal of motivating more people and bring them in their respective happy places.
Once something is a passion, the motivation is there. — Michael Schumacher
