Everyone desires change. We aim for change to have a better life, a better job and even better relationships. Some changes take place naturally. It is part of human existence. We grow old. We either go bigger or thinner. These changes are all part and parcel of humanity. These are inevitable.

However, there are changes that happen ONLY if we will it. These changes may happen if we make a move or a stand, that we want a change.

We all know that the only thing that is constant is change. But I also believe that for change to exist, we need courage. Just one voice can make that change.

Every leader sets themselves from the crowd by being courageous. There are certain times when no one wants to step out. They are waiting for someone else to make that decision. Someone who can visually say that you can “count on me”.

The best leaders are those that have the courage to do something that others would hesitate on doing.

In leadership, when one has courage and steps out, it gives courage to the rest of the people. Courage is contagious. Once a leader has stepped out then the others will step out as well. One leader with courage produces many other courageous leaders.

They say it takes guts for one to be able to speak their minds out. I don’t think so. Yes, it is part of it but one gets courage because he believes in what he stands for. He knows what he is fighting for. He knows what he wants to achieve. That desire and passion from within is where one’s courage emanates.

This is the very core why I decided to run a weekly forum in all my social media accounts —— “SPEAK UP.” Week after week we feature various topics and I encourage my followers to speak their minds. I want to know your thoughts. I want to have a feel on what’s deep inside each one.

We do not live in a perfect world, but we can make it better. The change we all yearn for may start with just one voice and that voice may be yours.
