We are all dreamers. From childhood to adulthood, we never stop dreaming. As we grow older, so do our dreams. As a young boy, I dreamt of becoming a pilot. But as I grew older, I was exposed to various realities of life and my dreams no longer became self-centered but I began to dream and create a vision not just for myself but for the people around me.
Every leader I had ever known had a dream and a vision. The only truth about dreams is that dreams are free but the journey is not. Sometimes the journey is painful. There will always be stumbling blocks along the way. But that is what makes it more meaningful.
Leaders find that when they go forward with that dream, they continually have to pay the price. They continually have to make down payments on the dream that they have. But there is one other thing I’d like to say, all leaders realize that whatever they pay, it is what’s the price.
Leaders go beyond having a dream. They go beyond having a wish list. They go beyond sitting around and hoping something may come to pass. Leaders understand that if they have a dream, if they are a dreamer they have to pursue their journey.
So, dream big because dreams do come true and it is in your power to make them come true.
